HEALTH CLINIC

Just outside Kigumba in Western Uganda lies a small village where people are treated for thier immediate sickness either in the house or on the village public land surrounding the home. 

The walk to the hospital is 15 kilometres and too far if you were suffering from malaria or another illness like cholera.  So Yema, a lady with a Certificate in medical laboratory studies acts as a nurse for the local people.  Her home acts as the treatment room.  The local anglican church that she worships at gives her support and encouragement.

Her dream is to complete the brick building alongside the house and put some beds in it.  We at Let Hope Arise Africa want to help her achieve this dream.
